Discover the city by bike
The city is equipped with almost 300km of cycle paths, so you can visit it by bike! We offer a range of guided tours. Each tour lasts 3 hours, and will introduce you to a different facet of the city. If you’d like to be on your own, you can hire a bike from us!
Visit the Sagrada Familia
The Sagrada Familia is one of Barcelona’s defining symbols. It is visited by millions of people every year. The part built by Gaudí is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is due to be completed in 2026. It is open every day: Monday to Saturday: 9am to 7pm and Sunday: 10.30am to 7pm. But don’t forget to book your tickets in advance! It’s easy to get to the Sagrada Familia by bike, just 25 minutes from Born Bike Tours. So don’t hesitate, hire your bike from us and set off to discover it!
Take a stroll along La Rambla
The Rambla is made up of five sections with different names. Starting from the Plaça de Catalunya, there is the Rambla de Canaletes, the Rambla de los Estudis, the Rambla de las Flors, then the Rambla de los Caputxins, where the Boqueria and the Liceu are located, and finally the Rambla de Santa Mónica. It is not possible to cycle along the Rambla, but there are arches all along the Rambla where you can park your bike and discover one of Barcelona’s best-known streets!
Relaxing in the Parc de la Ciutadella
Ciutadella Park is Barcelona’s first park. It was created for military purposes after the War of the Spanish Succession. The park was redesigned by Fontseré at the end of the 19th century. In 1888 there was the Universal Exhibition where the Monumental Fountain, which you can still see today, won the price. A large part of the park is occupied by one of Europe’s leading zoos. The Parc de la Ciutadella also houses the Parliament of Catalonia, the Monumental Waterfall, the Castles of the Three Dragons and a greenhouse. Take a bike ride!
Visit Gaudí's houses
Gaudí is Barcelona’s most famous architect and created three houses that can be visited today: Casa Battló, La Pedrera, also known as Casa Milá, and Casa Vicens, which was the first house he built.
As well as these three houses, Gaudí also created other works that are (almost) all accessible by bike from our shop: the Palau Guëll, Parc Güell, Colonia Güell (20km from Barcelona), not forgetting the Sagrada Familia.
Enjoy a bike ride along the coast
La Barceloneta is Barcelona’s most charismatic fishermen’s quarter. It lies between the Port Vell district and the Port Olympic.
The Barceloneta is characterised by its beaches and narrow streets. There are plenty of restaurants and bars where you can eat and drink Spanish cuisine, especially tapas. A short walk will take you to the Museum of the History of Catalonia, the Clock Tower and the Maremagnum shopping centre. The cycle path in this area is very pleasant and runs along the whole of the beach. It’s the perfect place to take one of our bikes for a spin!
