The city of Barcelona is divided into several neighborhoods, each with its own particularities and history. Among the most famous are :
El Barri Gotic
This neighborhood is the oldest in the city and is also the most visited and touristic area of Barcelona. It is the historical heart of Barcelona with the La Seu Cathedral, the Santa Creu Cathedral and the Generalitat Palace.

El Eixample
This neighborhood is known for its famous Sagrada Familia, but also for the Casa Mila and the Casa Batlló, which are all works of Antoni Gaudí.

El Born
Located 10 minutes from the beach, El Born has become a very trendy neighborhood with an atmosphere that visitors enjoy. Its architecture and numerous cafes make it a very pleasant place. This is one of the most modern areas of the city. You can find the Rambla de Poblenou, the Poblenou Cemetery and the Agbar Tower.

El Raval
This neighborhood is one of the least touristy in Barcelona. El Raval is the most multicultural area of the city and is always very lively.

Gràcia
This is a very quiet and typical Catalan neighborhood, where you can see the famous Casa Vicens by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí.
